On Sylt you will find the most dog beaches, but also on Amrum, Pellworm and Föhr there are beach sections for dogs. The holiday region North Frisia has the largest number of registered cultural monuments and the highest density of museums in Schleswig-Holstein. Five languages are spoken in the region of North Friesland: High and Low German, High and Low Danish and Frisian.
