VAZ founder Alexander Olschanski worked as a sales representative for several years across Germany and quickly recognized the challenges faced by business travelers: unfamiliar surroundings, accommodation in uncomfortable apartments and the vague feeling of being a stranger. He was convinced that he had to offer guests something better and developed the vision of livable temporary accommodation in the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region.
